Starting Small, Growing Together
Heavy Metal Off-Road (HMOR) began in 2017 in a garage in Livermore, California, with a simple goal: to create products that make people happy and bring them closer to their passion for off-roading. What started with custom fabrication for local enthusiasts quickly grew into our first product and online store.
When we relocated in 2020 to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, HMOR took its next big step - moving into an industrial space where we could expand our operations. In 2025, we expanded into more space and brought manufacturing almost completely in-house with advanced CNC equipment. Through all this growth, one thing has remained constant: our focus on building trust, listening to our customers, and creating products that help them explore the world with confidence.
Built for the Community, Inspired by You
At HMOR, we know our customers are the heart of what we do. Every product—whether it’s our flagship Rock-It Racks or our Bed Bar Rack System—is designed with feedback from the off-road community. We listen, learn, and build gear that stands up to the toughest trails, while staying lightweight, simple, and versatile.
Our products don’t just perform—they endure. Built in the USA with uncompromising quality, HMOR products are designed to never fail when it matters most. And we fully back that promise with a limited lifetime warranty, giving our customers the confidence to tackle any adventure.
But HMOR isn’t just about products—it’s about people. From first-timers to experienced adventurers, we’re here to support every level of passion for off-roading. Whether it’s meeting customers at tradeshows, chatting on the trails, or hearing their stories online, we love connecting with the community that inspires us every day.
A Few Highlights Along the Way
Thanks to the incredible support of our customers and partners, we’ve achieved some milestones that make us proud, including:
• SEMA 35 Under 35 award in 2023.
• Being named one of the Top 10 Bed Racks of 2024.
• Receiving the Kootenai County Top Young Entrepreneur award in 2024.
• Official Trail Run Sponsor and Trail Guide for Overland of America.
• Competing in off-road racing, winning awards since 2021, and proudly partnering with other brands on our 2025 racing rig, the Crimson Cannon.
These moments are a reflection of the trust and support of our community, and they inspire us to keep pushing forward.
Strength in Community
HMOR is built on the idea that off-roading is more than just a sport—it’s a way to connect with others and explore the outdoors together. We’re actively involved in several local off-roading clubs, building relationships with fellow enthusiasts who share our passion.
Giving back to the community is a core part of who we are. Our annual summer BBQs bring together hundreds of attendees for free entertainment, raffle prizes, and a shared love of adventure. In addition to these events, we proudly organize separate raffles and fundraisers to support veterans’ organizations and cancer fighters, causes that are deeply important to us.
The support of our community drives us to continue creating gear that makes every adventure unforgettable. Whether it’s on the trails, at an event, or through charitable contributions, we’re honored to stand with the people who inspire us every day.
