The Universal Fit ROCK-IT Bars system by Heavy Metal Off-Road is a formed-steel modular truck bed rack foundation for compatible pickups using HMOR Non-Track mounting or supported Retrax XR / Roll 'N Lock XT integrated T-slot rails. If a vehicle-specific ROCK-IT Bars listing exists for your truck, use that listing for the correct mounting hardware and vehicle-specific configuration.

  • Construction: 12-gauge cold-rolled mild steel with formed pillars and crossbars.
  • Finish: Black powder coat included.
  • Height options: 12 Inch, 17 Inch, 23 Inch, 24 Inch, and Softopper 23 Inch.

  • Accessory mounting: Top-surface slots allow rooftop tents and other compatible accessories to bolt directly to the rack.
  • Upgrade path: Add ROCK-IT runners and side components later to convert the system into a full ROCK-IT Rack.
  • Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty.

Mounting Options

  • Non-Track: No-drill / no-mod mounting for compatible truck beds using HMOR's bedside clamp system.
  • Retrax XR / Roll 'N Lock XT Bed Cover: Mounts to supported integrated T-slot rail systems using HMOR T-slot hardware.

Kit Contents

  • Set of 2: 4 pillars, 2 crossbars, rack assembly hardware, and vehicle mounting hardware.
  • Set of 3: 6 pillars, 3 crossbars, rack assembly hardware, and vehicle mounting hardware.

The ROCK-IT Bars system is built as the starting point of the full ROCK-IT platform. When upgraded to a complete ROCK-IT Rack, the current full-rack system is rated for 1,500 lbs static and dynamic with an evenly distributed load.

Load Definitions: Static means the vehicle is not moving. Dynamic means the vehicle is in smooth motion. Rough terrain and off-road impacts can create forces beyond smooth-motion dynamic conditions. Do not exceed the vehicle manufacturer's load capacity.
